I frequently check out the Card Positioning System blog, and finally had time this week to use the sketch. Very simple and purple! I was in a purple mood last night.
Here's the sketch:
And here's my card:
I'm trying to get my groove back when it comes to cards. I tend to overthink the whole thing and want to do too much. And that's when things usually go south. When will I realize that simple is better for me?? I love seeing all the cards with all the fanciness going on, they are gorgeous. But they just don't seem to work for me. So for now...simple it is!! Thanks for stopping by!
HI Mara,
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the bag you made for your son's teacher, so cute, I will have to check that tutorial out! Thanks for sharing. I have to tell you I made the little cone with my cricut as well, that will definately be a repeat project, so easy and so cute. OK, so you were asking me about the glass etching, I cut my names out of vinyl and used the negative image to stick to the glass, then applied glass etching to the stencil, let it set for ten minutes and rinsed off. So how easy is that. It perminent doesn't was off, the glass etching product is basically acid, so VERY toxic!! And the cartridge that I used for the "four lace" was the graphically speaking. It is hard to tell from just looking at the box, but this cartridge is LOADED. My local scrapbook owner was showing me all the things that were on it, and I had to go to Walmart and purchase it that same day! OK, so I have written a book, have a good night and chat at you later!
LOVE how you tied a bow in your button! I have NEVER thought of that!!! I will definitely be scraplifting that idea! Great card!!!
