I have a good friend who is pregnant and I wanted to do something unique and personal for her. After much blog surfing, I ran across these cute cloth diapers. I fell in love!! Since I have zero ability to sew and don't own a sewing machine, I had to go to the expert. My mother-in-law!! She is amazing with a sewing machine and I knew she could help.
I spent Sunday looking through fabric and she showed me how to do everything. Measure, cut, pin...I had so much fun! And look what I made!
3 custom, cute baby burp cloths! I sewed the 3 fabric panels together and then sewed it to the cloth. Everything is not perfect, but as my mother-in-law said...the baby is going to spit up on it...it doesn't have to be perfect!
My friend is having a girl and after having 2 boys, she is a bit nervous. She is NOT the girly girl type! So I wanted to make these girly, but not over the top.
A big THANK YOU to Peggy who helped me so much!! I can't wait to make some more! Thanks for stopping by...
