My Sweet Boy

I like to do a layout each year of my kids, just trying to capture what they are into at the time. Here's the one I did of Kevin for his 7th year. I can't believe he's going to be 8 in a couple of month, where does the time go???



Most everything is from the Color Me Daisy August kit. Lots of great Jenni Bowlin papers on this layout! The kit also included some hand dyed gems, which stumped me at first. For this layout, I took a thicker '7', added some paper glaze and then covered it with the gems. It dried perfectly and isn't actually too bulky!



And this kit has some great embellies, check out this ticket with the smiley face, too cute!!
