Rainy Day Monday

Hi Everyone!! It's a rainy Monday and it's pouring right now. We got back from our camping trip yesterday and managed to out-run the storm. We had a wonderful trip, the weather was fantastic!! Want to see some photos?

Sandcastle Masterpieces! We got THIS sandcastle making kit for Christmas last year and finally had a chance to try it out. It's sooo fun!!




Here are my 2 cuties! They had so much fun on this trip:


We dyed easter eggs right by the ocean. Such a great view! We also saw 5 Grey Whales migrating north. We had a great vantage point overlooking this bluff and the whales were easy to spot.

We also did lots of hiking and walking and riding our bikes. We did quite a few scavenger hunts and the kids had a ball checking off things on the list.


Ahhhh...it was so relaxing. It did get windy at times and the nights were a bit chilly, but that didn't damper our spirits! I hope you all had a great weekend. I had the misfortune of getting sick over the trip so today i'm home from work, sick, with the kids on spring break and pouring rain. Fun times! I just declared it Clean Up Your Room day and we are heading upstairs soon. Have a great Monday, everyone!
