Inspired by Spring

Hi Everyone!! It's finally feeling like spring today. We did lots of planting this weekend and getting our garden ready for summer crops like cucumbers and tomatoes. My friend Beth, who is also a Papertrey Princess, challenged us to use spring colors for a card. And I also loved the card sketches in my most recent Scrapbooks Etc. magazine. So...here are some cards!!


This pretty much looks exactly like the sketch except I added that layered flower on the left side.


The paper is all Papertrey Ink scraps, I knew I was saving them for something!!

And here's another one. I've been dying to make a card with this orange/hawaiian shores color combo and I just got the Tiny Treat stamp set from PTI that I was dying to use. This was also another card sketch in Scrapbooks Etc. this month.


I loved the little peek-a-boo circle from the sketch!!


I think that little dino is one of my favorite images from the stamp set.

    SO cute! I really love the orange and blue colors together...I just picked up that magazine too, i love their ideas, fabulous job you did:)

    OMGosh! I love them both! I thought the first on was pieces of ribbon, not paper! And the dino-mite is beyond words adorable.

    I love the scraps card Mara. So fun and a great design too.
    But the orange one ROCKS! (am I partial because orange is my favorite color? maybe...) Love, love, love it!

    On a side note: my browser would not let me stay on your blog because it said you linked to megansmunchies.com, and that THAT site hosted malware. Weird. I had to come back using IE instead!

    I did some planting today too! It is getting harder now that my porch is a nature preserve! I have three birds now that have taken up residence (2 finches and a robin). I feel rushed because they stand nearby and squak until I go inside. :) It has been fun though watching them and the eggs. We've also discovered a baby bunny! Your cards are lovely. . .i especially love the dino one! So so cute. :)
