Here is Kevin, 3rd grade. He is getting so tall, he is up to my shoulder now and his feet are almost as big as mine.
And Kayla, 2nd grade. She put that outfit together all by herself. I love the scarf. And that is EXACTLY how she wanted to wear her socks. Don't try to talk her out of it. She won't listen. At all.

By the time we got to school, she had ditched the headband all together. Here she is patiently waiting for her classroom to open.
Kevin had already found his friends and run off to his classroom at this point. And i'm happy to report they both had great days. Thank goodness! So the school year begins, with homework and friend drama and all the good and bad inbetween. Happy School year everyone!

They look lovely and i know what u mean about talking them out of the sock thing. My daughter is the same age and like to make her own fashion (will never listen). Glad they had a good day. School year starts here next week on the 2nd Sept ;0)

Mara what GREAT photos.. I gotta tell you Amanda wears her socks the SAME WAY!! (and she is going into 5th.. and we CANT talk her out of it. and if we do.. she just pulls them up at school when I am not around.. AND she wont wear anything in her hair! LOL! No wonder they hit it off!)

Awwwe they so cute Mara... Mine go to school on Sept 2 but they are at the age they don't want me to come in with them.. :( Oh well needless to say I am excited for them to get back to the books and ROUTINE!!
